Milan Fashion Week with AIGNER
Reset, Rewind your mind were the key messages of AIGNER's show this FW17 season at Milan Fashion Week.
With a gentle and muted approach to this season's colour palette, AIGNER's designs were made for the modern woman who loves that touch of nostalgia. While it's been proven difficult to preserve the brand's DNA while providing a fresh and fashion forward look, AIGNER's collection balances the old and new by playing with textures, fabrics and also cuts to appeal to the contemporary silhouette.
Key highlights for me during the AIGNER show were the spectacular bags that really boasted AIGNER's dominance in leather craftsmanship. With the 'Reset' theme in mind, signature Cybill bags were reinvented along with new styles that speaks to the traditionalist, modernist and sporty all at once. Oversized studs on the bags were also spotted on some of the leather collection and they were instant crowd-favourites.
Exclusive backstage access also allowed me to get up close and person with the collection and it's always amazing to watch how everything come together just for that few dazzling minutes.
