Armed with an unwavering dedication to destination-dressing, Fossil was the perfect fashion compliment to my dream destination, Abu Dhabi.

Laced with rich culture and unending sand dunes that evoked fantasies of Arabian royalty, I was convinced that my Aladdin would appear in any instant to sweep me off on a “magic carpet ride”. It’s safe to say that whilst here, you feel like you’ve suddenly been transported into a mystical world filled with haunting opulence – opulence that tempts all that set their eyes on it.

Being able to blend effortless chic with just a touch of extravagance was hence a goal I set out to achieve whilst exploring Abu Dhabi’s many treasures an objective Fossil managed to help me achieve with its new Holiday 2015 collection. While it’s true that “affordable” and “luxury” are not usually words that you see together, Fossil definitely struck a fine balance, melding its collection seamlessly into the richness of the Abu Dhabi landscape without threatening to burn a hole in my pocket, something I was convinced the Middle Eastern sun would do by the end of the trip.
